My 1989 VW Mk1 Caddy

In December, 2010 about 3 days before Christmas...i bought my Caddy

Heres the pic that won me over




Here she is, looking good but with half finished paint.





First thing i did to it was the things that HAD to be done...finish the paint job, install a sound system...and MORE STICKERS!! I also made a side exit as ive always wanted one

4 months later...its slowly getting closer to the Caddy I had in my mind when i saw the Pistonheads advert. I have installed new crosshair lights, a Gti Front Lip, a new Grant Steering Wheel, and a pair of 8x13 Weller Wheels on the back, and a pair of 7x13 Weller Wheels on the front. All with just enough stretch to give it that attitude it deserves









Now, ive slammed it as far to the floor as i can without having my sump dragging on the floor (gonna look into raising my lump ) As you can see the lip had taken a beating and definitely isn't how it used to be haha but in my eyes...it suits the truck down to the ground!!






I then went onto checker my roof and re-checker my fuel cap using Frog tape and good ole Halfords rattle cans with the help of my Golden Retriever puppy Keith

ive said it before mate but ill say it again, i love ur caddy!!!!!! i cant wait for mine to be road worthy (hopefully next week if i can have a day away from work that isnt pissing it down) one question tho did u make ur side pipe or buy it???? i am torn between a side pipe and a stack but leaning more towards a side pipe.

I made my sidepipe Armed with an angle grinder and U-clamps. The original rear of the exhaust acts as the bend in the pipe. Can't wait to see your caddy bro
